Sam Pittman Salary and Contract in 2023

What many may not know about Pittman is that he was the offense line coach for Arkansas before he became the head coach. Before this, however, Pittman was bought out by Georgia for $250,000.

Pittman found great success at Georgia. In 2018, his offensive line was named a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, which is given to the best line in college football. This success led Pittman to a promotion as the associate head coach in 2019. As the associate head coach at Georgia, Pittman was making roughly $900,000 a year.

In 2019, however, the Razorbacks were looking for a new head coach and decided to bring back Pittman. It’s said that the deal is a five-year, $25 million deal. When he signed, Pittman was the eighth-highest-paid SEC coach from a public university.

Pittman’s Net Worth

Pittman isn’t as outgoing as many other coaches, and there’s not much to be found regarding his net worth. Although many sites have his net worth at five million, they still have his old contract number of three million a year. Now that Pittman is making five million, it’s safe to assume that his net worth is hovering around the seven million mark.

The details released by Arkansas say that Pittman will receive a $250,000 bonus for winning six games in a season, a $500,000 bonus for winning seven games in a season, and a $750,000 bonus for winning eight games in a season.

This means that so far, Pittman earned $1M in 2019 and $500,000 in 2019 from his bonus. Pittman isn’t a college football mogul, but he’s a good coach who is being paid a fair amount. The Razorbacks are not a premier program, but Pittman has done an excellent job recruiting and building this team.
